    Position Title: Air Coordinator - Passengers                                                             

    FLSA Status: Non Exempt                         

    Work Hours: Full Time

    Department: Guest Services                            

    Position Reports To:    Director- Guest Services

    Summary:

    Responsible for the timely booking of air flights to coincide with cruises. Disseminating air schedules to reservations agents or guests. Assist phone staff, travel agents and direct clients with questions regarding air travel.

     

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

     

    • Daily QA of passenger air travel, including booking guidance for phone staff.
    • Timely ticketing of flight records to coincide with documentation.
    • Manage all ticketing and processing according to ARC and CruiseLink rules.
    • Analyze air sales and address any obstacles with management
    • Distribute and manage schedule changes, cancelled flights and carrier movement.
    • Provide air pricing surveys for new destinations or itineraries.
    • Confirm block space in Amadeus with contracted airlines (Air Tahiti Nui)
    • Works with ARC specialist to resolve any ticketing, refunding, voiding and debit memo issues

     

    Requirements:

    •  Proficient in airline GDS systems. Amadeus preferred.
    • Five year minimum experience required with international booking and ticketing.
    • Knowledgeable with ARC standard ticketing practices.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication
    • Good organizational skills
    • Demonstrates record of good attendance, is flexible with scheduling.
    • Must be detailed oriented
    • Must be able to carry out all job functions with minimal supervision.
    • Weekend schedule and alternating on call weekends required.
    • Duties as assigned
